Larry Marino is the News Director of Newstalk 870 KRLA, Los Angeles. He has also hosted morning and afternoon radio shows on KRLA and KIEV. He has been a television reporter for KRBC/ KACB in Abilene, Texas. He has also taught Radio/Television News and production at the University of La Verne.
With two decades of professional experience, Larry Marino is already a veteran broadcast talk-host. He joined the Salem group of stations KKLA, KRLA in Los Angeles after developing and hosting KPCC’s well received "Talk of the City." Marino is no stranger to LA radio. He has served as news anchor at Metro Networks. He has hosted two nationally syndicated radio programs carried on 80 stations and has worked in television as a Cover Story reporter in Texas. As a journalist he has produced radio news stories for Associated Press, United Press International, CBS News and ABC radio news. Marino’s broad range of interests and genuine curiosity has won him many loyal listeners.
Larry is helping to build KRLA's newsroom into a model for "balanced and fair" reporting.
